Local Listings and Reviews Management: Why are they so important to dentists?

As shared by Hispanic Market Advisors® on this page related to Local SEO services, Local Listings have an impact on SEO in many ways, some of which we’re listing here:

  • Link signals – first and foremost, each local listing is a backlink to your website (maybe an obvious but friendly reminder)
  • Google My Business signals – proximity, categories, keyword in business title, etc.
  • Citation signals – IYP/Aggregator NAP consistency, citation volume, etc.
  • Review signals – review quantity, review velocity, review diversity, etc.
  • Social signals – social engagement on Google, Facebook, Yelp, etc.
  • Behavioral / mobile signals – click-through rate, mobile clicks to call, links to directions, etc.

Managing your clients’ reviews is also a key factor in determining how successful your digital marketing campaigns will be. Both Local Listings and Reviews Management are key component of a local SEO campaign.

Some of the benefits of using local SEO service are the following:

  • Your dental practice can stay relevant for Local Search
  • Your dental practice can dominate your local market using key local SEO strategies
  • Your well-optimized web site will convert more and rank higher in the search engines
  • Your well-optimized web site will use schema markup to boost your SEO
  • Your rich snippets with structured data markup will allow search engines to better understand what information is contained on each web page
  • You will be able to listen to social comments about your dental practice and be the first to respond in a way that is consistent with your brand

Greetings from the 2019 President – Dr. Ricardo Y. Mendoza

Good day to my wonderful, beautiful and always-growing HDA family. I am Dr. Ricardo Y. Mendoza “YOUR” HDA 2019 President and I wanted to be among the first ones to send you a cordial and heartfelt Happy New Year.

For those of you who do not know me I am a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist involved in academia for over 18 years (University of Illinois at Chicago and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.) I have a private practice in a beautiful windy city called “Chicago”. Originally from Venezuela (and I take great pride in my motherland), we at HDA are not separated by ethnicity or place of origin, we are a large family “an all-inclusive Hispanic Community”.

I truly believe that when a cause goes beyond the color of one’s skin or the language one speaks, and people share a worthy goal it becomes a courageous and passionate cause. That is why we all are touched by the HDA mission statement:

“As the leading voice for the Hispanic Oral Health we provide service, education, advocacy and leadership for the promotion of overall health of the Hispanic and all other underserved communities.”

As you see we all want to arrive at the same destination, HDA wants to provide a solid platform where united we can accomplish our goals to get there first, fast and making a lot of noise all the way.

My objectives for 2019:

  • Place HDA in the spotlight – by uniting our voices we will be seen and heard.
  • Pay attention to populations in need, minorities and disadvantage populations, understanding physical, emotional and intellectual disabilities.
  • Join Medical and Dental Societies together uniting our goal to serve the underserved.
  • Prepare our students for challenges to come by reinforcing our HDA mentoring activities. After all – they are our future.

Let’s not be on the menu anymore, let’s set at the table where decisions are made. Please renew or join the HDA in 2019 and bring a colleague with you. Remember one does not have to be of Hispanic origin to belong, if you believe in our mission, then the HDA is for you. Please click here to join/renew.

This year will be HDA’s 29th birthday, and I am thrilled and excited for an incredible year filled with scientific sessions, social events and networking opportunities; stay tuned and get involved, be part of HDA in your city. We have professional chapters and student chapters around the country, however if there isn’t one near you, we can assist you in forming one.

I hope to see many of your faces at one or more of the events that we have planned for this year, so I can tell you in person that you can count on me and you can count on HDA.

Yours in health,
Dr Mendoza

Dr. Ricardo Y. Mendoza
